KU Overall Sports Championship for 22 times
The sports persons and athletes have done us proud by winning the Kurukshetra University Overall Sports Championship for 21 times in Men section and 22 times in women section.
Faculty members Dr. Sanjay Arora, Dr. P.K. Malik, Dr. R.S. Walia, Dr. Vijay Sharma, Dr. N.P. Singh, Dr. Amrit Kaur, Dr. Alok Goyal went to the USA, Canada, England, Italy, Thailand, Sri Lanka to present research papers in International Conferences.
Deeksha Chhoda, a student of B.A.I of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamuna Nagar has won Bronze Medal in 2nd Golden gloves Championship 2013 held at Serbia. Twenty One( 21) countries mainly Kaziksthan, Russia, Serbia, Sweedon, India etc. participated in the Championship. Deeksha won position in below 69 kg weight category.
Workshop for Teachers
The Regional English Language office, US Embassy , New Delhi has given a small grant to Dr. R.S. Walia to conduct a workshop in the month of July/August 2014 to train teachers in using the web tools for teaching English.
Programme for Personality Development
The college has partnered with FACELIFT, a personality grooving company from New Delhi, to engage students in Personality Development Activities so that they could be prepared for job placements.
