scholarships

The college provides different channels for welfare of the students in the form of scholarships and freeships. All the SC/ST/BC and state meritorious students are availing the scholarships. College administration taps all sources for maximizing the welfare of students. Some of our college teachers have instituted scholarships for meritorious and needy students in UG and PG courses. Similarly Jamna Auto Industries, Yamuna Nagar whose CMD happens to be the President of Managing Committee of our college donate liberally.

Jamna Auto Industries scholarships have become a regular feature which covers a large variety of students such as economically weaker students, fatherless child, meritorious students, best athletes and best performers in cultural activities. So far Rs. 18 lacs has been distributed among students.

The college also provides welfare schemes to students under collaboration with various NGOs such as Rotary Club, Lion Club etc. The most important scholarship provided through this channel is Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship by UGC, New Delhi which has been given to all those PG girl students who are single child of their parents. The college itself provides scholarships to the economically backward, meritorious and best athlete students.

In addition to above, some other scholarship/financial assistance channels are Dr. Radha Krishan Foundation Fund, Sita Ram Jindal Scholarships, Scholarship for Minorities of Haryana, Promotion of Science education by Haryana State Council for Science and Technology, Panchkula and Red Cross Society. The students belonging to weaker sections irrespective of their category are helped by faculty members. The faculty members do believe in the Indian tradition of Gupt-Dan (Undisclosed donations) through which books, fees, stationery, etc. are given to them.

Besides these, the PG students of UP State are provided full fee assistance by UP State government who are studying in this college.
